County fairs are much more than carnival rides, fair food, and livestock shows. They are a tradition that brings generations together, celebrates agriculture, develops future leaders, and strengthens the communities we call home.
Whether you attend for one evening or spend the entire week at the fairgrounds, your support makes a lasting impact. Here are ten reasons why your county fair deserves your support.

Many of you have heard my story of how important our county fair and 4H were in my girls’ lives. Through 4H they learned so much and grew in so many ways! I continue to enjoy watching the youth in our county grow and learn from year to year.

While livestock often gets the spotlight, 4-H and FFA offer opportunities in leadership, science, technology, public speaking, woodworking, photography, cooking, engineering, gardening, sewing, and so much more.
These organizations help young people discover their interests, develop confidence, and prepare for successful futures in countless careers.
3. It’s One of the Most Affordable Family Traditions
In a world where family entertainment can be expensive, county fairs remain one of the best values around.
For the price of admission, families can enjoy animal exhibits, live entertainment, educational displays, competitions, local vendors, music, and activities for every age. Many events are included with admission, making it possible to spend an entire day together without breaking the budget.

Friday 5PM Polo exhibition in the horse arena and kids livestock scramble, Saturday tractor pulls, Sunday evening concert with Emily Ann Roberts, Monday harness racing, Tuesday championship wrestling, and Wednesday KOI drag racing.
