Fall in Miami County 🍂

If I’m being honest… once the Fair is over, I’m ready for fall!

There’s always a little bit of melancholy when the Fair wraps up. After months of preparation, hard work, and seeing so many familiar faces, it’s hard to say goodbye to another Fair season.

But then… hello, fall!

There is just something about this time of year that I love. The crisp mornings, changing leaves, bonfires, pumpkins, apple cider and all the simple things that make this season feel like home. I love to watch my perennial garden wake up from the hot humid days and once again have bright blooms to pick for my kitchen table!

I wanted to share a list of some of my favorite late summer/fall activities in our community. Hopefully I will see you out and about as the season changes!

The Cherry Street Local Farmers Market continues to be one of my favorites and I can’t wait to see what the many vendors bring us to enjoy as the season changes.

Ghost tours of Troy– I attended this last year for the first time. Very fun and informative about our local haunts!

Of course, how could it be fall without a visit to Fulton Farms? The pumpkin patch and hayride are one of my favorite memories with my girls and Jon! Head out there to see animals, pick your pumpkins, go on a hayride and more!

So, goodbye to another Fair season… and hello to crisp mornings, changing leaves and all things FALL!
